I recently import a bunch of links. But I didn't need them all, so I figured I would delete the catergory in which imported the links to. Well, during the deleting process the main catergory got deleted! Now when trying to delete the links from below the main catergory, they can't be deleted since the main caterogry is no longer there.

Is there an easy way to get out of this? Without having to redo the whole database? I've tried to delete single links, but says that can't be deleted.

Any help would be appreicated.

How were you deleting them? Via admin or MySQLMan?

I don't know if this is related or helps, but I could not delete, move or do anything with links I imported to begin with until I set the isPopular tags in the database. My import caused some of the Required columns to be blank so I just ran an sql statement to set these fields, than I had no problems with the links or categories after that.

I was deleteing via the admin interface. I was using the browse interface to delete, which I found out was the wrong way to delete such a large number of links. I know that I should of searched for the catergory and then delete the whole top level catergory.
