I think I got an answer to this via email but I can't find it now. I'd like to change the order of my category listings so that it is

A B C
D E F

rather then

A D G
B E H
C F I

Anyone have a solution?

I know how to do it as I've done it for a script I'm writing but I'd have to investigate the changes needed for Links SQL unless someone answers in the meantime.

Actually an option in the admin would help many.

With the new template parser you can probably do it with nested loops the same way you'd fill in any table horizontally.

I'm sure a solution with code was posted at one time...... I remember doing it :)

The point was to do three horizontal columns, not two vertical ones (for formatting, so the titles would line up). I think I did it for my Just4Feet site.... but I lost all that site in the crash. I'm pretty sure I posted the code here as a reply to someone. Probably back in june-august. time frame.
