I have posted a detailed post in Gossamer mail forum. Kindly do not consider this as cross posting ... but apparently there are issues which are breaking gossamer mail when GT libs of Glinks 3 are used. There were issues also with Glinks 3 admin area table update which got corrected only when community GT was linked to Glinks 3 GT. But Gossamer mail even when all by itself under mod_perl, has issues when Glinks 3 GT libs are used.

If i get back everything under mod_perl

community/glinks3/mail/forum ... with no symlinking then

table column update in glinks fails with following error:


A fatal error has occured:

GT::SQL::Editor (26380): Unknown method '_column_sql' called at GT::SQL::Editor::alter_col line 238.

Please enable debugging in setup for more details.

Which i had posted some threads back and

Gossamer Mail Save Draft Fails as mentioned in Gossamer mail forum ....

All loading order and sequence is as per the recommendations and in fact nothing had been breaking untill Glinks 3 GT libs are/were loaded under mod_perl .... not too sure what else would break... a detail of tests done on gossamer mail has already been reported on gossamer mail forum....

It also breaks Address inclusion from Address Book in Gossmer mail

becomes &lt; &gt; and obviously mails can't go to:

&lt;someone@somedomain.com&gt;

in the To/CCor BCC address.

Applicable under mod_perl setup
