GT::HTML missing?

GT::HTML missing?

Looking around in GT-help pages I found a very useful package named GT::HTML, this package would contains great procedures. Just tried to use it but I immediately wondered that the GT package shipped with LSQL don't contains this module at all. There are no HTML.pm around.
That's a pitty.

Will this feature be implemented again in GT?

cheers

Hi,

It's shipped as part of the Spider and is used for parsing HTML pages. In it's current form, it's not that generic, and is still pretty tied to the features needed by the Spider.

Cheers,

Alex

I must have installed the spider on that site without realizing it.

When the spider is removed, does it "clean up" after itself, and remove extra modules, or does it leave them "in case"? I try to keep the site I use to check questions on as generic as possible, and didn't realize the spider was installed there (it wasn't running, but it was sitting, waiting, like a spider...;)

I really thought the site I was using was just a few standard plug-ins and my image mods... I guess I have to set up a new install. It's much better to develop on a "standard" or average system, than one with a lot of specialty hacks.

Reality check... <sigh>
