I have a front server / Back Server configuration...

I have noticed that a lot of the "intense" operations from admin- like Build, etc. hang for 30 secs or so, then I get a "page not found" or unable to conect or something in admin. The operation typically still runs... I just can no longer see the updated status.

Any idea how to fix this?

I think this is a browser time out - not sure whether you can do anything to change this. But you could run from shell instead.

I am also having this same exact problem.

The werid thing is, we just moved the site to a new server, and on the previous server, it worked fine, but now it will only work through command prompt.

Any suggestions?

    For me, it was like that- I had it for a while, then lost it. I thought it might haver happened when I went to the font/back system, as I do not keep alives in that area...

What our script does is when I click on build all, it displays the following, then just times out:
Creating backup file ...
Done (2.00 s)

Resetting hits and rates ...
Done (0.00 s)

Updating New Flags ...
Done (0.00 s)

Updating Changed Flags ...
Done (0.00 s)

Updating Cool Flags ...
Done (0.00 s)

Building Home Page ...
Done (0.00 s)

Building What's New Index ...
Done (1.00 s)


Building What's Cool Index ...

The "validate Links" page just times out completely.
