Whats the difference between these two:

page.cgi?d=1&p=custom_template

page.cgi?p=custom_template

Surly the dynamic tag here (d=1) is not needed as by default using the page.cgi makes the template dynamic anyhow. I have tested this with & without with no notable difference - unless this does something not shown by my testing.

d=1 means that a user has logged in and you should see a s=something for the user session.

If you don't use d=1 all the links will send you back to the static pages....eg on your main page you will see links to the html category pages but with d=1 they will link to page.cgi

Yes.. I see, so basically its forcing the followed links to stay dynamic without the chance of jumping to a static page/link. Thanks!
