Does changing "include" file require rebuild?

Does changing "include" file require rebuild?
Hi.

Are the "include_" series of files SSI includes or do they need a rebuild of Links to be "included?"

Just curious what folks do when making stylistic changes to Links with a full DB. since you can't see what things look like locally, it's quite tedious to make a small change, rebuild a large DB and then realize you have to make another change.

Things like menus, headers and footers might be better served as being run as actual includes. Though of course the trade-off is requiring more CPU cycles to serve an SSI page.

Yeah, it does need a rebuild. If you are building static pages, and using SSI to include files, then you won't, but if you are using <%include file.html%>, then it will need a rebuild Frown

Try clicking on the 'dynamic' link at the top of your admin panel - this should show you what the site will look like after a rebuild.
