Directory user agreement / terms of use ?
Hello,

I need to put a user agreement / term of use page on my site (a web directory using linksql).

Do you know where to find template for this kind of need ?

Hi,

I guess the easiest way is using your admin:

Build->User Templates

Select e.g. home.html, add the information you want and use:

Save template as xxx

Then you cann call your Terms with .../page.cgi?p=terms if you saved as terms.html

Links SQL doesn't have a template for such a purpose by default. The easiest way to accomplish this might be to simply make a quick static page with the header elements that you use in Links SQL.

What we did on our site..

Is to use the build detailed page option to build selected links that has our main pages..

We created a category for our site and added all the services as links linked to their detailed pages..

the advantages of this are:

1- the layout is the same.

2- The pages are stored in your SQL tables so moving the site is easier..



Just a thought.

thanks for your answers. but it seems I wasn't precise enough.

I mean my problem is not technical, but legal :) . When I said "template" I meant a legal "terms of use" template.
I need to know what to put in a user agreement for a directory.

I found a service that helps you build a privacy page, but couldn't find one that helps build a "terms of use" agreement for a directory :(.

You could just copy it off another site that has a similar thing, and just edit it a little to fit your needs Sly
