I know this topic has been discussed but not luckey enough to get right answer by searching. I need to change the display of search result. so in search result template I need to use another templte like linkN.html ..where can I change it? I couldn't find it , where I have define linkN.html in place of link.html

I don't know if this is the best way, but I did this.

in link.html
<%if query%><%include linkN.html%><%else%>
normal contents of link.html go here.
<%endif%>

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but there are many ways to do this.

klangan's idea works, since only search pages will have a <%query%> tag, but depending on how complex you need it to be, there are other ways that may be possible.
