DBI and DBD::mysql for windows

DBI and DBD::mysql for windows
I am having my web site hosted by a Window2000 server. But the server is not being installed with DBI and DBD::mysql modules.

Can the DBI and DBD::mysql files downloaded from http://www.perl.com/CPAN/modules/by-module/DBI work with Window2000 server?

Are the following commands Perl commands and can be run under Window2000?
perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install

I am sorry, I really don't know Perl....

Use the command prompt and ppm

ppm install DBI
ppm install DBD-mysql

Please tell me where to download the DBI and DBD-mysql? any preferred version?

Are these Active Perl? Window 2000 always using Active Perl?

Really appreciate your help.

It downloads automatically when you type the command..
