In V2.x i had search logger by Alex installed and that has carried over to 3.x also. Can i safely delete that now that search logging is a part of Glinks3.x. Also if tables are not deleted upon uninstall, which table needs to be removed, if it can be (alongwith the def file) ...

The installer automatically uninstalls the SearchLogger plugin and imports the data when upgrading to 3.x

Since it's from another plugin, I can't comment on that.

If you are not using the advanced logging -- eg: daily stats, then you can delete that table.

That table tracked hits on a calendar day, something the main table didn't. So it would give you the ability to show the most popular searches on any given day, to reflect moment-to-moment variations.
