Alex, do you know about the problem with the category browser? i couldn't find any info on the forum to say you did. Anyway, i get a javascript error when trying to use it:

IE5.0 , will send you url by email. It works in netscape (v4.6 i think) i should have tried that earlier.

Shoot, it works fine for me. I'll have to dig in a bit deeper to see what part of the javascript is messing up on what versions.

also, does the category browser only display categories below that were created with it? I have a category with categories below and links in them that where created directly into the database and it will not show them.

Alex, using the link i emailed you you could see this in

/Newsgroups/Science-Fiction

there should be 3 or 4 categories there with 4 links but only 1 category displays.
