Hi

I Have someone who is interested in using my current Links SQL database on another site that uses Links 2.
I know that importing from Links 2 ----> links SQL is easy.
But How about a reverse import from Links SQL ---> links 2?
Can it be done and how to do it ? If anyone knows I will appreciate so much..

Why would you want to do that? It would be very complicated to say the least. Basically the whole "import" script would have to be re-written as an "export" script to work with Links 2.0.

I don't know why you would want to go back to a flat file system, which is cumbersome and challenging to hack and use compared to SQL systems like Links SQL.

Ithink you did not read my post completely :)
I said there is another website wanna use my database, and they can not afford links SQL, so they wanna start with Links 2 till they grow up..

I will never think about going back to Links 2 after trying Links sql..:)

Well, I did read your post and I have to say the same thing, it would be highly complex to EXPORT LINKS SQL data into Links 2.0. And the logic is upgrading and not downgrading software.
