Can you have two different add forms? I mean, you use one add form if you are adding the site to these 5 categories but a different add form if you are adding it to this one category? (I may be adding a top category I want more or less sperate from the others.)

Okay, let me rephrase this a little...I have two directories, one large (Links SQL), one small (Links v2). I'd like to combine them into one database using Links SQL but still have them operating as two seperate websites. Is this possible? (without buying another Links SQL license, which I cannot afford)

I think they need to operate on the same website to comply with the licence agreement (which I think is what you are wanting to do?).

And then you could seperate the content of the two.... maybe add a new column to your categories like 'Site' and set each category as either 'Site_A' or 'Site_B'. You can then gear your forms, searches, links and maybe even users around either one set of categories or the other. It could get a little confusing though.

Yes, that might be a bit much...I think I may have to go with the 'all or nothing' plan.

If you add the columnn to the categories , you could at least present one set of categories in a different way when they are viewed. This would tell people that they belonged to your old links 2 site.

You may be just as well to keep the link 2 site going until you can afford another Links SQL.
