I know people asked for this, but I really don't like it. The "@" really affects graphic design.

What I do like, is the ability to mix the sub-categories and related categories into one list.

Is there a way to turn the 'prefix character' on or off?

A useful option would be to replace the prefix character with any string -- that can be a single character, graphic, or image.
