Today i have a Unix question

i am using my site in static mode and build it new every night with a cronjob

is there any posibility to delete files older than 5 days with a cronjob
except the folder 'cgi-bin' and 'images' and the .htaccess an robots.txt files

because i must delete many links every day in the Database
but the static pages of these links remains on the site

This kind of thing was suggested ages ago. I think Andy and webmaster33 were working on some plugins, but I haven't heard much about them in a while. Maybe they should be named "Site_Cleanup" or maybe "Auto_Clean"

But, you're right, it would be great if the system itself could delete old stuff in a separate routine or perhaps integrated with the build.
