banned hosts feature in LSQL admin setup
Can the banned hosts field in the misc. setup be used to ban access from specific countries? I.e. can you specify a wildcard like *.hu, *.cz, etc..? Is there another way to do it?

Thanks

Should be able to. Never really used this feature, but I would imagine something like;

.br

..would work. Spose its just something you need to test out with a known country, and see what that does.

Thanks Andy,

You know what though? I just thought about it and this is only going to work in dynamic mode and not static Smile, unless it dynamically generates a .htaccess file, but I doubt it. Oh well, back to the drawing board...

I think its more to stop people spamming search.cgi, add.cgi, modify.cgi, rate.cgi, etc (as these are the most commonly attacked scripts).
