Removing Puntuation from searches

Removing Puntuation from searches
Hi!

Been a while since I have been here, hope everyone is doing well.

Anyway, I noticed a "quirk" in search I was hoping to solve. I have a category called "The Mummy- The Animated Series". ecause of that "-", if you search "Mummy" it does NOT show up; you have to search "Mummy-"

OK, I could rename the category without the dash, but the real name of the series has a dash... is there a way to make search ignore the dash. Also, are there any other characters that may cause this (like ":", ";", or "&"), and can we make those ignored, too?

Thanks!

Dave

You could rename it 'The Mummy - Animated Series'. It's the lack of a space that is throwing it off. Also, if you default substring to on it should match.

Cheers,

Alex
