Has there been an update to this plugin or can someone create a new one for links sql 2.1.1?

Check Plugins section in Links SQL Admin ...

Check it often. That one does not spider the link in question. it only reports the link that the user submits. Altho it is a fine plugin this one did have extra options like a form for the user to give a reason it is being reported, spider url and email the admin with results, among others. Would be a great addition to Links SQL I would pay for it.

On another note:

I do realize that SQL has a link checker also, but user input is an important part of the site. A spider can only report what the server has to say, a user can add much more input. If there was a form that could let the admin know what the problem is then they can keep thier directory that much more updated and clean, not to mention less time finding what the problem is. A spider will just confirm a sites status as to availability which can be important also but not the definitive answer.
