Hello,

Purchased GoCart a few days ago, and although install wasnt as smooth as GT has me used to, I got it working more or less to my needs.
With one big exeption, I wont be shipping anything. I´ll be selling digital goods (PDFs).
Ive searched the forum for this code but wasnt able to find anything.
Do I need community? How do I display the past AND pressent products the person has bought?
Probably a lot like ultranerds has... Thats why I went with GoCart (thats what they use), but I wasnt able to find any reference to this on the help file.
How do I "auto-activate" what the person purchased via PayPal so it can be ready for immediate download.

Or doesnt it work like that?

Hi,

Unfortaunatly, its not as simple as that. For it to "auto validate" someone as able to download a digital product, you need to have some kind of system that is run on the validation of the purchase, and updates their account. On our site, we process payment manually (mainly cos of false payments, where they are made by people who have compramised someones paypal/CC details .. unfortunatly, this is quiet a big issue with our stuff (over $5k worth of false payments over the last 4 years)

Hi,

GoCart isn't really setup for digital goods :(

To do what you want, I think you would need a custom script (addition to the validation page, after a purchase)
