Get Rated Code

Looking for the get rated code cgi addon.

Like Scriptsearch.com and Hotscripts.com are using.

is a standard feature of LinkSQL. If you've got LinkSQL, then it should be visible in your standard install whereever you have a link.

Actually, after looking at the examples you gave it looks like something slightly different to Rate It.

Ratings on a scale of 1 to 10 are built into Links. You use the rate.cgi script, and it can be set to allow only one vote from an ip per unit time. I modded this to allow only one vote per link, per logged in ID, and you must be logged in to vote. The mod also keeps track of the vote (ie: 1 to 10). It is going to be part of a larger ratings system.

But, what you are asking is only to put those ratings into a drop-down box, so that rather than 1 to 10, you use Good/poor/etc. You just need to change the HTML on the ratings page, so the user sees a drop down box, then pass the value of 1 to 10 into the ratings script.

You can do this on any page, not only from the ratings page, just passing in the values to rate.cgi.

simply edit the URL, change the look of it, and set the ID to whatever the link ID is, and your set Smile
