I'm working on this to get it smoothed over for the current release.
It will have all the features discussed in the Custom Mods forum, and I've changed the angle slightly so it will accept one of any file to attach -- image or other, and will do size checking if you load the Image::Size module from CPAN.
This makes it perfect for a logo or for a single file attachment like a downloaded file. It should be able to figure out what it's dealing with, but I may have to put another config option in just to make sure.
The slow go is that I have to sort of work on all 3 file/upload/image programs at the same time to keep them in sync, and the bigger two need a _lot_ more work to make them consumer ready. But it means the baby 01.xx.xx version has somewhat more capability, and will nestle easily into the hooks of the bigger brothers if you decide to upgrade.
Target date for the 01.xx.xx version is this week, the 02.xx.xx version is about 2 weeks, and the photo-gallery/image upload is probably early next month for an alpha/+ release.
Postcards plug-in (yes!! I almost have it a plug in!!) will be available within two weeks. This will attach to a links site, and not require another license.
The postcards site mod, will be released probably about the time of the photo/gallery mod (they are sort of dependent on each other) and it will require a separate license as it makes major changes to the links database structures, and is tuned for links-as-images not as urls.
