Using community with links sql and forum.
I want to be able to send a forum private message to the user that submitted the detailed page.
gforum.cgi?do=message;user=1; Seems to be the way to do it. But i don’t have the id number of the user in forum as its different to the id number in sql links. Is there an easy way to synchronise the id of the users in links sql and forum and to keep them scynced when user are created in community. So I can then use the ID in links sql and know that it will be the same as in forum.
Or is there an easier way to private message someone from detailed page maybe using the link owner or contact name as this is already the same as the username in forum.
Or do i need to write some custom code to lookup the correct forum user id?
