is there already a solution that can create pdf's using tables / columns stored in GLinks?
I know the PageBuilder plugin, but I'm not sure if it can do this.

GLinks will be used to show details of a product, like different beers, ... and there are values like alcohol level, stacking height, packaging, ...
The pdf has to have a (pre-defined) letter-head and show some data from colums for each specific product.

The PageBuilder plugin could do this. As far as I have seen you have to buy extra software for PDF generation: http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/
If you only want to generate your Detailed pages as PDF documents I woul suggest http://www.fpdf.org/ which is free software.
There are examples and so you can connect via PHP to your database and generate static or dynamic PDF files.
I have not found an easy free solution using Perl yet.
