Category Tree Browser - Select only certain categories

Hi there,

We have about 7000 categories in our GLinks installation. Currently, when a user adds a link to the database, he\she can add it to any category.
Is there a way to restrict them to add links only to the lowest level of a category branch?

At the moment we are using the default GLinks tree browser and the lowest level of our categories vary between "cat_depth" = 2 to "cat_depth" = 7.

Sounds good. I know there are quite a few people who want the option to stop showing certain categories in the AJAX tree, but it seems harder than you would expect (I'm far from an expert with AJAX, so that doesn't help either Tongue

)
