1. Instead of using default jump.cgi to count number of hits is it possible to use javascript where on mouse down it goes to modified version of jump.cgi file that only updating number of hits and on mouse up goes directly to URL of the link?

2. One click AJAX ratings (no registration is required), without being transferred to another page to rate?

For the AJAX Rate, I have a plugin that does that:

(you can test it on that page too, its just above the "review" bit)

For the other thing - yes that is possible, lemme have a play around and see what I can come up with.
