I have been alerted to a problem on the Cron_Manager plugin, whereas certain servers did not setup the cron jobs corrctly, and there was a problem with the 'log file' option whilst editing via 'Other Crons'. These should be now fixed in v1.6.

Version 1.7 is now out. This new version basically enables you to setup cron's for nph-reindex.cgi (i.e for rebuilding your search tables when using INTERNAL INDEXING).
