Sorry, the images rule didn't work.

I'll try a few variations.

It seems as if it is missing "part" of the css.

Thank you,
Chris

I'm a bit lost now as to where you are Tongue. Can you just post the rules you are currently using, what is not working on your site and the relevant paths from your web directory - i.e. to images, css.

I have pagebuilder working on my site with rewrite rules they are just like the ones used with page.cgi except you add page= instead of p= and use a different catch directory in the preceding part of the rewrite rule to distinguish.

You have :

page.cgi?page=$1

instead of

page.cgi?p=$1

I'm trying to set up a site like this at the moment but haven't had much luck yet. Can someone clarify the following for me:

- do I need to create a new directory (e.g. 'html') in the root directory?
- does the .htaccess file go in this new directory or the root?

I will probably be able to figure this out eventually but the points above aren't clear on the previous page of this thread.

If I understand the point of this correctly, the dynamic URLs will appear as static and there will be no builds required for category pages, New, Cool etc. I already use pugdog's detailed page plugin and have used mod_rewrite to make the URLs appear as static.
