Can the Advanced Newsletter Plugin be used to send out keyword notifications? That is, can people subscribe to be notified when someone posts a link containing a specific keyword(s). I'd like to use this with my Classified Ads installation. The benefits should be obvious.

If this plug-in can not do it, has someone else written something that can?

I am really aware of the functions within the plugin...

It does not have that function currently. But...

What it does have is this:
*Refer a newsletter...Lets a user send a trial to a friend
*By category newsletter templates
*By category stats
*Self contained optin and out for user
*and much much more...

Now as per the keyword function, If you contact GT (Virginia) she may be able to help you out more as per adding that function to it. I do not know if it is simple to do though. She would be able to do it for sure though.

We're working on something like this for another client, but it is quite different from the Newsletter plugin. We're making it as a notification system to let users know when a house that fits their search criteria is added to the MLS database. For your classifieds system, we could make something similar if you're interested, let me know by private email.
