Download to hardrive what next
So I downloades a 30 day trial version to my harddrive and got an internet explorer icon with the title 'gforum-1.1.8.tar.gz'. I doubleclick on it to open but it takes forever to open and doesn,t open all on my macintosh. What next. I thought I read somewhere this is a very easy forum to install. What has gone wrong?

Hi,

The file is in a .tar.gz format. On windows you can use Winzip (http://www.winzip.com/) to unarchive it. I'm not sure of a Mac program to unarchive it, but I'm sure the regular tools should work. Once you unarchive it, you'll find a README file on how to proceed with the installation.
