We are in the process of moving domains. Part of that was moving the forum. The tech that worked on it decided to copy it over and do a massive search and replace on the templates rather than using the admin.

Now what is occurring is that we have two copies of the forum, one on the new domain and one on the old and no matter which admin template I try to update, the pages dont change.

I have searched through to find any instance of the domain name to change it but it isn't updating when we load the forum. Does it need to be reinstalled or is there some config in the database perhaps that we have missed? Could this be a permissions problem?

If you're just moving domains, you shouldn't need to modify the templates unless you've modified them to add complete url's to the templates. Also remember that if you used the admin panel template editor to make your changes, your changes will be saved into the 'local' directory inside the template directory. Lastly, you can also try deleting everything from the 'compiled' directory.
