Table Editor does not seem to work

Table Editor does not seem to work
I just used the Table editor to change the User table

I changed the Form Display field for a couple fields like AIM to ZipCode but the changes do not appear in the User Profile.

Do I have to do something different to change make the pages that use those fields update with the new form display values

Never mind. I now see that the fields are Hardcoded in the templates.

I would have expected the templates to use variable names for all display data. It is a common practice in other Forum software (such as UBB) That way you only have to change it in a global variable and its set on all pages.

Might be a good enhancement huh?

FYI the manual states..

If you want a name other than the actual Column Name to appear when records are being displayed or edited, enter it here. This name does not have to be entered in valid SQL format, so a column with a Column Name of “user_location” can appear as “Location”.
