Suggestions for improvement
Two feature suggestions for the improvement of Gossamer Forum (GF):

1. ability to mark messages and forums as read - I only read a couple forums (and only select messages in those forums), and the persistent "New Post" icons are annoying.

2. [Edit Profile] function where you can select which forums to display - for similar reasons as given in (1).

I don't actually intend to switch to GF (I am satisfied with my current SQL forum setup), but it might be of benefit to others, and make my visits here more enjoyable.
