Please don't get upset Jason, I know you have plenty to keep you busy. But here is another one to tuck away somewhere:
As the number of users on your forum increases (like near 14,000 in GT's case), the number of free, and decent names available to users severely decreases. (think of hotmail or yahoo).
So why not have an option/tool where the admin can free up names by removing dead wood i.e. users who have either never logged in, or not logged in for a period (defined by the admin) AND have less than a definable number of posts. Sounds cruel? Well, that is up to the forum admin I suppose, and the users posts would remian, all they would have to do is sign up as a new person when the wished to re-join.
Hotmail gives you 30 days. I don't think a year or two years or whatever would be a bad feature for busy forums.
Also, perhaps a DEAD IMAGE stripper. You know how at the moment you cannot place inline images, you have to link them from your server (or someone else's)... maybe a little tool which automatically scanned all of the posts, and removed images which are DEAD. It could insert a peice of text where the image used to be "Image Removed - Broken Link" or whatever, defined by a language file text.
