I hope that this the appropriate forum to post this suggestion...I am not running Gossamer Forum, however, as an end-user of the GT Discussion Forums using Gossamer Forum, I'd like to suggest the following:

For shortcuts, dynamically insert the title of thread/post when a thread or post shortcut is posted.

An example of this can be found at:

http://www.dslreports.com/forums/all

It's really cool that when I paste URLs to threads and posts in their forums, it automatically inserts the title of the thread or post I copied.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly? Do you mean have the shortcut link generate a link like:

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...rt_Title%29_P253220/

Hi there...sorry for the confusion. I mean more than creating a shortcut, like putting the actual TITLE of the thread in the post.

See the links that I posted? Those were pasted from copied Thread URLs, but when I submitted my post the TITLE of the threads appeared rather than the URL....
