500 - Internal server error
Hello,

I've run the gforum installation program, apparently successfully.

When I try to access gforum.cgi, I get the HTTP 500 - Internal server error.

According to my server's error log, the compilation of gforum.cgi failed at line 17.

Line 17 is : use GForum qw/:forum :user $DB $IN $CFG $USER %HIDDEN $TEMPLATE_SET/;

I have installed MySQL on the server.

Can anyone suggest why the compilation has failed?

What is the actual error rather than the line it occurs on?

Sorry. The error message is "Premature end of script headers".

My other thought is that the installation script may not have completed successfully. What message should I see at the end of installation, and how many directories / files should it create?

did your browser finish ... you should be able to see the end of the installation .. it has a link .... (I think it did Laugh )

how many directories and files ... ummm ... too many to bother counting ... templates alone are somewhere around 40+
openoffice + gimp + sketch ... Smile

I have the same problem... what can I do if it doesnt show the link at the endo of the installation?
