There seems to be a bug with hot threads....they stay hot forever.

Yep, that's a feature.

It has now been changed, so that once a thread is hot, it reamins hot.

Just the way it should be :-)

I'll have to disagree with that one. Maybe a blue hot icon? To indicate that the thread was once hot?

On this point.... the icon used for hot thread new replies and hot thread no new replies is nearly identical. I can only barely see the little yellow stripe down the left hand side. Any chance of making this cleaerer? Somehow?

Yes maybe a different color icon would be good for hot threads older than a certain number of days
