Mail error help?
What causes this error when a user attempts to register?

Unable to send validation email: Unable to send mail: Unable to send email. Reason: SMTP: Local user 'xxxxxxx' 'unknown on host 'my mail server. Server said: 550 not local host xxxx.xxx, not a gateway

Does this simply mean that my mail server refuses to send mail to that domain? What should I tell the user, if I am able to tell them anything?
