I was going to installed my purchased version of Forum tonight, then I saw that an upgrade is due this week.
After using Links for a while I know the routine to install an upgrade is to make an entirely new copy, then import everything.
Is Forum that way too or can an upgrade just write over the old one easily? If so maybe I'll wait.

Oopps. I just tried it. The install has a very easy method of upgrading.

Which should be the same as Links SQL (or did you mean Links 2)? You definately don't need to reinstall, the installer will handle upgrades for you.
