CGI error after login with "don't use cookies"
I'm running IIS6. After I login with the "do not use cookies" option check, I get the following error,
_________________________________ CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
_________________________________

When I login using the "remember me", I don't get the cgi error mentionned.
When I login with nothing check, I don't get the cgi error mentionned.

I also get the cgi error after I post a message using the personnal configuration "go directly to message" or "go directly to forum".

If I use the "go to confirmation page" option, I do not get the cgi error.

Has anyone seen this problem ?

Hi Alain,

First off, which version of Gossamer Forum are you using? We ran into some problems with redirects on IIS-6 which should be fixed in 1.2.3. If you don't wish to upgrade, e-mail me privately and I can send you just the updated file.

If you are already running 1.2.3 already, can you look at the "Tools -> Environment" section of your admin panel - near the bottom, in the environment section, should be a line such as:

SERVER_SOFTWARE => Apache/2.0.52 (Gentoo/Linux) mod_perl/1.999.21 Perl/v5.8.6

In your case, instead of Apache it should start with something like: IIS/6.
