I was trying to do a search for new members based on date yesterday and had the same result! It returned the entire user list.

Hello? Nobody know what is the date format to use in the field User Last Logon, on the search users (admin) form? Why it is returning me the entire user list as result? is a bug or i'm using a wrong format when i input the date?

dd/mm/yyyy? mm/dd/yy?

Sorry my insistence.

Great question, and one that I recognize. Searched through the forum for an old post of mine and found it: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...orum.cgi?post=191101

2002-10-10 (I think that's month then day)

As I wrote then, it's a format I never would have guessed at.

I'm also not sure what the status on the gforum manual is, but this would be a good addition to it.

yyyy-mm-dd

It works ThanxSmile

But the i'm still getting the entire member list as result when i do a search. Howeber i can do a search with other criteria, example registration date and number of post = 0 and get a perfect result, just for eliminate unactive registered users. Thats is what i wanted to make

The supported formats are as follows:

# yyyy/mm/dd
# yyyy/mm/dd hh:MM [AP]M
# yyyy/mm/dd hh:MM:ss [AP]M
# yyyy/mm/dd HH:MM
# yyyy/mm/dd HH:MM:ss

# Common formats that can't be recognized:
# dd/mm/yyyy - These two are conflicting US/European formats and it would
# mm/dd/yyyy - be impossible to figure out which one you are trying to use.

Note that in all cases, the /'s can be substituted for -'s. hh indicates 12 hour time, and HH indicates 24 hour time, while MM represents minutes, mm = month, ss = seconds, yyyy = year, and dd = day.

Do you think maybe this should be in the FAQ's?!
