Hallo
Is it possible to have a dynamic SEO friendly URLs?
So the guest would have simle short urls?
to have the url look like this:
http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=6
in stead of this:
http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=6;guest=1370752
and this:
http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1996
in stead of this:
http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1996;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;guest=1370752
and this
http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?user=23
in stead of this:
http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?user=23;guest=1370763
The static URLs are nice, but it is not developed completely there are many links pointing from static URLs into dynamic mode (copy shortcut, next thread, latest replay, etc.) which will lead the robots to find the dynamic pages with the same content and this would trigger the double content filters and this could lower the importance of the static like pages. If it would be possible to have the URLs looked simply like http://www.site.com/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=6
Robots would love it!
