Page Cannot be Found when trying to login.
I just setup the DBman script using the JPDeni tutorial. I was able to get to the Login screen; however, when I tried logging in, I got a "Page cannot be found error." I took the tutorial's advice and cleared out the password file. When I went to page again, and tried to click on Admin to add myself, I then received yet another "Page cannot be found error." To see an example, goto: http://www.emicom.com/cgi-bin/dbman/db.cgi?db=default&uid=default

I checked to make sure that I have permissions setup on the files exactly as it says in the tutorial. It wasn't clear on the index.html, however, in the /auth directory. Let me know how to give you access to my config files and I'd be happy to do so.

Thanks!
Kelly

I'm assuming you got this going as I was able to login and then add and delete a record.

It is necessary to create the /auth directory and place the index.html file within that directory. The index file just serves the purpose of not being able to display a file list within the directory.

Please let us know if you are still having any problems.
If you need your files looked at .. the method is to save your files as .txt files and then provide the url to access each file.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the post. Yes, I figured it out within 20 minutes of writing my question. I had the $db_dir_url path incorrectly stated in my .cfg file. Thanks, again, for the help! -Kelly
