I searched the discussions and found bits and pieces about creating a mail list from the database (some from Eliot). But I did not find a full script or mod. Does anyone know if there is a way to send mass email to all the users in the database? I guess one way of doing it is through a web based mod that pulls out all the email addresses and sends the email message one by one to the users from the admin page. Has anyone made such a subroutine or knows how make one? This would be a great addition to the DBMan admin function.

The best thing to do is download the subscribe.cgi file from LINKS. This would be the best starting point.

I am currently working on a stand alone mail script that pulls email addresses from the database, but checks with another field. I am using it as a method to communicate to our Windows 95 users when their NT password is about to expire. Rather than doing double data entry, I am using DBMAN for a password directory database.

I have stumbled all over myself...I am about to look at the subscribe.cgi file in LINKS and also the nph-email.cgi file to see if I can pull any codes form them that will assist me.

If I come up with something, I will post it in the DBMAN Modification Forum.
