Installation Instructions for Win 2K?
Are there installation instructions available anywhere for installing DBMan on Windows 2000?

I have downloaded the latest version of the software, but the instructions are written for UNIX (in the README file).

I tried copying over my UNIX version, but I keep running into problems and rather than continuing to come back and find solutions to little bugs I find, it would be better for me to be sure I installed correctly in the first place.

Thanks in advance.

This forum is your best bet as there is no Windows Installation readme. If you describe the problems you are experiencing then we will help.

Well, for now, the problem I'm having is that when I try to modify a database entry it erases the entire database (default.db).

Have you turned ON flocking? $db_flock

This DOES work on WinNT.

I turned off flucking and it seems to be working now. I'm doing some testing to make sure.

Will FLOCK being off corrupt my database anytime two people are modigying the database at the same time or would they need to be editing the same entry?
