I have 5 databases, all of which I created with JP Deni's configurator, all of them uploaded as text files (two different FTP programs), permissions are identical and set correctly.

One of them won't work: I get the Dbman has encountered an internal errorr...

Debugging is turned on, checked it twice, but no error message. Nothing in the server's error log either.That tells me that db.cgi isn't getting to the .cfg file, right?

I don't understand why four databases would work perfectly, but the last one won't even load the cfg file. They're all in the same directory.

I may be dumber than a bag of hammers, but I don't see why this one database won't work.

I'd guess that you may have an unclosed tag in your html.pl file or config file for the databse that is producing the error. You may want to doublecheck for } or ; in all the right places. Without seeing your files, that's about the best guess to be made.
