Help! For some reason, I have code in my html.pl file for text on the input fields and formatting of the screen. All works well, except for the database. There the labels are the field names and not the code in the HTML. I have tried over and over again to change this and have had no luck. I have the auto_generate forms switched turned off. I actually turned it on to see what happened and I could see no difference.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have to get this screen formatting completed to go to the next step.

After you created your own field values within the subs html_record_form and html_record did you start with a new database?

Perhaps if you used the original database file which may have had samples records this could be causing you problems.
