User -add -modify -delete question
I plan to run a database users can add, delete, and modify own records... this database will be hosted on a NT-server so I can't use flock. So my question is if there could occure problems if more than one user edit the .db-file at the same time.

Uh...flock does work in NT servers NOT Windows 95/98.

Oh...if that's the case it is my fault. I'm usig win 98 to customize db-man and I know that I can't use flock on my system so my guess was that in NT it isn't imlimented too (I always knew flock as an unix based subprogamm)

anyway thanks for help...

That is correct....flock does not work in Windows 9x servers, but it does work in Windows NT and Windows 2000.
