Searching for blank entries in a field?

Searching for blank entries in a field?
I am new to DBMan and I have just set it up with an imported database. One field in the database contains "X", "Y", "Z", or blank. I have created a Select field using " ,X,Y,Z". When I select the blank entry as my only search criteria, to search for all records that contain a blank in this field, I get an error that "no search terms were specified".
How can I search for all the records where this particular field is blank?

I could be wrong, but I'm not sure you can search for blank fields.

You may want to add another options called "none". You would then have something to search for.

Sorry I could not be of more help.

You may have figured this out allready. But I just did same this morning. On a standard setup/configuration I us < " " in any field to return those records that did not have any data. Likewise you can enter > " " and return those records that have data...

Hope this help!
