Access database from outside

Access database from outside
Hi.

I would like to use the dbman as a memberdatabase which leads to the following question: is it possible to access a specific member from a html or php-file and have the data presented on the screen? It should work in that manner that you have a memberlist and when you click on one member you get the data.
If that does not work, is it maybe possible that the db.cgi - when you add a new member or modify one - does not make this one text-file, but a small html-file, where the data is inside? But it would have to be one html-file for every member so that I can include it with SSI.
Maybe it is not possible with the normal dbman at all, but maybe with the MySQL-Version?

Thanks for your help,
Markus Poestinger

You may want to check the FAQ noted below and look under the sections for "Files / Records" and also "Viewing / Format".
